In this role, Dr. Stillwell will provide strategic leadership, direction and guidance for Tyson Foods’ global FSQA discipline, and oversee the company’s commitment to safety and quality for all Tyson Foods products.

This new company will supply commercial genetics to the turkey industry.  Aviagen is the majority owner of Select Genetics, which was formed through the merger of Valley of the Moon Commercial Poults (VOMCP) and Willmar Poultry/Ag Forte.  Select Genetics will continue to execute and honor the obligations and agreements in place for both VOMCP and Willmar Poultry companies and their respective customers.

On April 18, 2017 in Raleigh, NC a Mass Animal Mortality Management Workshop will be held. Attendees will hear about Lessons Learned from Recent HPAI and NC Flood Events. This event will be a  pre-conference workshop as part of the 3rd International Waste to Worth conference on Livestock and Poultry Environmental Quality, a national network of agri-professionals addressing issues related to air, water, soil, and climate.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cargill’s turkey processing facility in Springdale, Arkansas, is one of the largest in a city that is home to many established poultry companies. Since 1976 Cargill has produced turkeys in Springdale and the 360,000-sq.-ft. facility currently employs 1,100 and produces approximately 300 million lbs. of finished goods per year.
