The Poultry Federation (TPF) proudly recognizes Marvin Childers for his nearly 20 years of dedicated service and transformational leadership as President.
During his tenure, Childers played a pivotal role in strengthening TPF’s mission to promote and protect the poultry and egg industry across Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Under his leadership, the Federation experienced significant growth in membership, expanded its educational programming, elevated its advocacy efforts, and increased the economic and community impact of its signature conferences and events.
Childers was instrumental in growing TPF’s flagship events into nationally respected platforms for education, collaboration, and industry engagement. He championed scholarship programs that have awarded millions of dollars to students pursuing careers in poultry science and allied fields, helping to build a strong pipeline of future industry leaders. His commitment to collaboration with academia, government partners, allied industries, and producers strengthened TPF’s influence and visibility at both the state and national levels.
“Marvin’s leadership has left an enduring legacy,” said Holly Duval, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “His vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the poultry industry have shaped this organization for nearly two decades. The impact of his work will be felt for generations to come.”
As TPF celebrates Childers’ retirement, the organization also looks ahead with enthusiasm, welcoming Blake Rollins as the new President of The Poultry Federation, effective January 1, 2026. Rollins brings a strong background in leadership and a deep commitment to advancing TPF’s mission. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Federation as it continues to evolve and serve its members.
“Marvin Childers has been a tremendous leader for the poultry industry since his appointment as The Poultry Federation’s President in 2007. Throughout his tenure, he expanded our organization’s presence and impact across Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. I am grateful for Marvin’s leadership and congratulate him on an extraordinary career,” said Blake Rollins, Executive Vice President of The Poultry Federation.
