Poultry Symposium for Production & Processing Sets Records for TPF

The Poultry Federation (TPF) held their annual Poultry Symposium for Production and Processing in Rogers, Arkansas at the Embassy Suites of Northwest Arkansas John Q Hammons Center on April 17-18.

The two-day Symposium drew over 700 attendees and 87 vendors. Attendees included production managers, veterinarians, sales representatives, technicians, plant managers, university professors and students. The vendor showcase was well represented by companies in live production and processing.

Attendees filled the general session to capacity to hear symposium keynote speaker, Chad Morris, head football coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Morris spoke about the importance of cultivating a team that aligns with the company’s mission in order to produce success. A portion of Morris’ speech can be viewed here.

Breakout sessions included topics focused on broiler, breeder, hatchery, turkey and processing. The full agenda can be viewed here.

“We are very pleased with the record number of attendees and vendors at the 2018 Poultry Symposium,” TPF President Marvin Childers said. “We are grateful for the time and effort Coach Morris took to share his personal story and experiences with the Symposium attendees.”

Plans are underway for the 2019 Poultry Symposium scheduled to take place April 17-18, 2019 at the Embassy Suites of Northwest Arkansas John Q Hammons Center.
