Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based Peco Foods announces that Tuscaloosa Plant Manager Tim Daniel will retire in March after 25 years with the company. Clarence Lumpkin has been named the new Tuscaloosa plant manager.

A native of Montgomery, Tim Daniel joined Peco Foods in 1994. His career spans 42 years, beginning with Poultry Products Company (Sylvest). Prior to joining Peco Foods, Daniel held positions with Conagra, Fitco and Southland Foods.

Daniel’s successor, Clarence Lumpkin, currently serves as plant manager for Peco’s Brooksville, Miss., location and will transition to the Tuscaloosa plant manager role in March.

Lumpkin has served in various roles in the Tuscaloosa facility and plant manager for Peco’s Brooksville location.
