Rogers, AR — The Poultry Federation (TPF) is proud to recognize its longstanding partnership with Destination Rogers and to congratulate Marvin Childers, President of The Poultry Federation, on being named the recipient of Destination Rogers’ Partner of the Year Award.
This first-of-its-kind honor recognizes Childers’ leadership and commitment to strengthening the Rogers community through strategic partnerships and the successful recruitment of major industry events that drive economic growth and elevate Northwest Arkansas on a national stage.
Under Childers’ leadership, The Poultry Federation has expanded its footprint in Rogers by hosting multiple annual conferences, meetings, and events that attract thousands of attendees from across the country. Collectively, these events generate more than $3 million in annual economic impact for the Rogers community, supporting local hotels, restaurants, venues, and small businesses while showcasing the region as a premier destination for industry gatherings.
Destination Rogers Executive Director J.R. Shaw praised both Childers and The Poultry Federation for their enduring impact on the community:
“There could not be a more deserving recipient of Destination Rogers’ inaugural Destination Partner of the Year award than Marvin Childers and The Poultry Federation. Marvin’s commitment to supporting our community and driving economic growth has made a tremendous impact on Rogers. The Poultry Federation’s annual events generate more than $3 million in economic impact, but their influence goes far beyond dollars and cents. Bringing the brightest minds in the poultry and egg industry to Rogers shines a spotlight on a sector that is essential to the story of Northwest Arkansas.
Without the poultry industry, Northwest Arkansas would be a very different place. This industry has created thousands of jobs, drawn people from across the country to make this region their home, and shaped our community for the better. We are grateful for Marvin’s leadership and the Federation’s longstanding partnership.”
The Poultry Federation’s partnership with Destination Rogers has been instrumental in the continued growth and success of its events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees while delivering meaningful economic and community benefits to the region.
“This recognition reflects not only Marvin’s leadership, but also the strength of the partnership between The Poultry Federation and Destination Rogers,” said Blake Rollins, Executive Vice President of the Poultry Federation. “Our partnership highlights the poultry and egg industry’s critical role as a driver of Northwest Arkansas’s economy.”
The Poultry Federation looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Destination Rogers and building on the momentum that has positioned Rogers as a premier host city for industry-leading events.
