Dr. Liz McGill joins CSA Animal Nutrition as Poultry Nutritionist

Dr. McGill will provide nutritional consulting, formulation services and technical services to support poultry clients at CSA.

We are excited to welcome Dr. “Liz” McGill to the CSA Nutrition Team! Dr. McGill joins us as a Nutritionist to provide consulting and technical services that support the poultry clients at CSA.

With over 13 years of experience in turkey nutrition, production, and technical service, Dr. McGill served as Nutritionist and Nutrition Manager at Cargill Turkey Production, LLC. Her leadership spanned four integrated operations that produced 30 million turkeys annually. She was responsible for the feed formulation, quality control, field research, and continuous improvement initiatives – driving significant cost savings while enhancing bird performance.

Dr. McGill earned a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, specializing in monogastric nutrition. Her doctoral research modeled amino acid requirements in male turkeys, and she has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and industry presentations. As an active member of global poultry nutrition teams, Liz collaborates with experts across North America, Europe, and Asia to advance research and best practices in turkey production.

Dr. McGill’s expertise, collaborative spirit, and strong industry relationships will be invaluable as CSA continues to grow and innovate in poultry nutrition.
