The Arkansas Nutrition Conference is an annual educational event and is coordinated by the Feed Manufacturers Committee of The Poultry Federation. The 2019 conference will be held on September 10-12, at the Embassy Suites in Rogers, Arkansas.
The conference committee is focused on bringing in technical experts nationally and internationally to address current topics and concerns in poultry nutrition. The conference goal is to help advance poultry production by providing a forum to share new concepts and ideas in poultry nutrition.
This conference qualifies for 12 CEUs for members of American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) and American College of Poultry Veterinarians (ACPV).
Proceeds from this conference are designated to provide scholarship support to graduate students pursuing a career in nutrition. Through the support of sponsorships and registration fees we were able to award 12 graduate students a total of $77,000 for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The Nutrition Conference Committee has prepared a great line up of speakers for the 2019 conference. This year's Technical Symposium is sponsored by Alltech. Keynote Speaker: Kay Johnson Smith, President and CEO of Animal Agricultural Alliance will speak on the topic of Securing Animal Agriculture's Future: Connect, Engage, Protect.
