Marvin Childers is President and Chief Lobbyist for The Poultry Federation and has served in this capacity since January 2007. In 2016 he was elected President of the State Poultry Executives Association after serving as the association’s Vice President in 2014 and 2015. Childers also served as an Arkansas State Representative from 2001 to 2006 and has practiced law with Friday, Eldredge & Clark since 2000. Prior to joining the Friday law firm, he developed a general practice in Blytheville, AR, where he was a partner with Burrow, Harlan and Childers.
Childers received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, and the Pulaski County Bar Association. Marvin was raised on a family farm in Cooter, MO where his family grew over 2,000 acres of cotton, soybeans, wheat and milo.
Currently Marvin resides in Little Rock with his wife, Charisse.
Holly Rogers is the Director of Marketing & Business Development for The Poultry Federation. She has been with TPF since 2014. Rogers leads TPF's business development, marketing/communications and media relations for Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. Rogers’ background is in marketing, advertising, social media and sales administration.
Rogers’ received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Management from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.
Joyce Wood is the Director of Business Operations for TPF. Wood leads the day to day operations of TPF, manages TPF's annual events, and spearheads all fundraising efforts for the Federation. Wood has been a part of TPF since 2005.
When she is not in the office, you can find her mountainside taking in the sites of the Natural State.
Lauren Sanders is the Marketing Coordinator at TPF. Lauren is responsible for assisting with all marketing efforts at TPF.
Sanders’ received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with emphasis in Advertising/Public Relations and Business Marketing/Logistics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She recently received her Master of Arts in Applied Communication Studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
