The Poultry Federation Hosts 27th Annual All Member Cooking Competition

June 13, 2023 - Rogers, Arkansas – The Poultry Federation hosted the 27th Annual All Member Cooking Competition in conjunction with their annual poultry festival dubbed “The Chicken Strip” as a nod to their overall Las Vegas theme. This exciting event aims to showcase the culinary talents of our esteemed members and celebrate the joy of cooking and creativity.

The competition took place on June 10, 2023 at the Rogers Convention Center in Rogers, Arkansas and featured a spirited culinary battle among 35 talented teams from our esteemed membership base. Members of all ages and backgrounds demonstrated their skills and passion for cooking in a friendly and exciting atmosphere.

The All Member Cooking Competition is a celebration of diverse flavors, innovative recipes, and culinary expertise. Teams competed in one of 4 categories: chicken bone-in, chicken boneless, turkey bone-in or turkey boneless. The competition allows members to showcase their versatility and skill not only in cooking but also their creativity.

Teams participating in the cooking competition were judged based on criteria such as taste, presentation, creativity, and adherence to the competition's guidelines.

Teams compete to take home the prestigious title of Grand Champion, the winner receives a commemorative trophy to proudly display in their office and bragging rights until the next competition. The runner-up and other finalists are also recognized for their exceptional talent and awarded for their achievements.

“This event not only aims to entertain and inspire our members but also serves as a platform for fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and promoting a sense of community within our organization,” stated Annie Hounsel, Business Operations Coordinator.
