Little Rock, Arkansas: The Poultry Federation announces its plans for the 2007 Spring Symposium. Live production personnel and suppliers who support live production of turkeys, breeders, and broilers; and more specifically service technicians and grow-out managers are encouraged to register and attend. This year’s event will be held at the Holiday Inn, Springdale, AR, on April 24 and 25. A welcome reception is scheduled on Tuesday evening and an impressive lineup of industry speakers is scheduled for all day Wednesday. Key note speakers for this year’s Symposium during the General Session include John Fitch, newly appointed director of the Arkansas Livestock & Poultry Commission; and Marvin Childers, president and chief lobbyist for The Poultry Federation.
