Ken Primm of O.K. Named
Industry Man of the Year



Little Rock, AR, JUNE 22, 2007:  Ken Primm, president of O.K. Farms, Inc. was named
“Industry Man of the Year”, by The Poultry Federation, at its 48th annual Poultry Festival held
June 9 in Little Rock.

Primm is a third generation poultry man with roots to the first contract producer arrangements in the United States.  After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Southern Arkansas University, he received extensive experience in all areas of live production and processing.  Upon completing a 5-year term with a large U.S. integrator, he joined O. K. Farms, Inc. in 1987.  In 1998, after working in the areas of hatcheries, breeders, broilers, live haul, feed milling, slaughter, and further processing, he became President of O. K. Farms, Inc.  As president of a fully integrated poultry entity, he oversees all live production, processing and de-boning operations.  Primm has been active with The Poultry Federation and served as chairman of the Board of Directors for 2006-07 He and his wife Lisa have two daughters, Kenna and Candace.

The Poultry Federation is a 3-state trade organization representing the poultry and egg industries in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.  Offices are located in Little Rock, AR, Jefferson City, MO, and Oklahoma City, OK.
