The Poultry Federation of Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, announces its Board of Directors for the 2010-2011 year. Serving as Chairman of the board is Trent Goins, Senior Vice President, O.K. Industries, Inc.; Vice Chairman of the board is Todd Simmons, Chief Operating Officer for Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc.; Treasurer of the board is Kevin McDaniel, Vice President of Production for O.K. Farms, Inc.; Secretary of the board is Rob Tanksley, Vice president of Operations for Tyson Foods, Inc.; and serving as Past Chairman of the board is Jerry Moye, President of Cobb-Vantress Inc.
Board members for 2010-2011 include: Shane Acosta, Complex General Manager, Cargill; Michael Fuller, Complex Breeder Manager, Foster Farms - Del Mesa Farms; Patrick Pilkington, Vice President of State Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs, Tyson Foods, Inc.; James Smith, Vice President of Live Operation, Simmons Foods, Inc.; Jim Smith, President of Keith Smith Co., Inc.; David Elam, Complex Manager, Wayne Farms, LLC; Charles George, Executive, George’s Inc.; Troy Green, Plant Manager, George’s Processing, Inc.; Vaughn King, Western Region Sales Manager, Aviagen, Inc; Andrew Lekwa, Complex Manager, Butterball, LLC; Steve Storm, Vice President of Operations, Cal-Maine Foods; and Jeff Vanemburg, Operations Manager, Pilgrim’s Pride Corp.; Amy Witte of Danisco Animal Nutrition is the Allied Industries Representative.
Marvin Childers of Little Rock serves as President and Chief Lobbyist of The Poultry Federation; John Bryan serves as Vice President for Missouri; and John Ward serves as Vice President for Oklahoma. “Our Federation board of directors continues to maintain strong leaders that will contribute to the long term prosperity of our industry,” said Childers. “We thank them for their time and dedication.”
