The 2010 Poultry Festival is quickly approaching and we are very excited for the Scholarship Auction to kick off the Friday evening’s festivities! The Scholarship Auction is our way of giving back to the industry by supporting those students who are our future leaders.
We are asking for your help – we need new silent and live donation items for this year’s event! Items for the Live Auction need to be over $300 in value; keeping in mind we will limit the number of items due to time constraints. Our big request is for you to help us with items for the silent auction! Remember, there are no dollar limits on the silent items, and we are trying to find a wide variety of items to appeal to a larger audience. So put your thinking caps on! Gift certificates, wine tastings, gift baskets, home décor, sporting equipment, Razorback apparel, jewelry, purses, hunting and fishing gear…just a few things to get your mind thinking.
We are asking that items be turned in or at least have the donation forms submitted by May 7th, 2010. Items can be dropped off at either the Poultry Federation office in Little Rock, Oklahoma City or Jefferson City or if you are in Northwest Arkansas, Tonya McCratic at Cobb-Vantress will be happy to help you with your donation item. Remember to complete the Donation Form with all requested information. Download Auction Donation Form here!
The night of the Scholarship Auction on Friday June 11th, Silent Auction bidding will begin at 7pm and the Live Auction bidding begins at 8pm.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for helping to make this event such a success! We look forward to seeing you at the 2010 Scholarship Auction!
Sincerely,
Scholarship Auction Committee
