Denim and Diamonds is Ladies' Luncheon Theme

“Denim and Diamonds” is this year’s theme for the Ladies’ Luncheon scheduled for Friday, June 11, held in conjunction with The Poultry Federation’s 51st Annual Poultry Festival in Rogers, AR.  The annual luncheon honoring women in the industry will be held in the Ambassador Ballroom of the John Q. Hammons Convention Center.  Co-hostesses for this year’s event are Cherie Moye and Megan Goins.  “Ladies of all ages are invited to attend and dress down in denim and pull out their diamonds and bling,” said Cherie Moye.  “We thought this would be a fun theme to incorporate with this year’s Festival western theme.”

Attendees will be treated to a special music selection by the Rogers Arkansas String Quartet.  This is a select group of extremely talented and dedicated youth who are graduates of Rogers or Heritage High School and have been selected for the “All State Orchestra.”  Their music will be positively delightful and enjoyed by all.

A fashion show sponsored and hosted by Stevette Campbell, owner of Stevette’s Fine Fashions, is slated for the luncheon. Stevette’s Fine Fashions is located in historic downtown Rogers and specializes in boutique style clothing and is known for outstanding customer service.  Stevette’s carries women’s casual wear, cocktail, prom, Mother of the Bride, Spanx, jewelry, shoes and more.

Representatives from the industry and the community will be modeling the latest styles and fashions.  Models include Cherie Moye, Megan Goins, Jenny Poe, Kimmie Provost, and Caelli Hull.  A special feature of the fashion show will be a wardrobe presentation of rodeo and western wear by several local Rodeo Queens and young ladies from the rodeo circuit.

Door prize drawings will be held throughout the luncheon and each lady attending will receive a special hostess gift.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 12:00 noon.  Registration is $20 per person and tickets can be ordered from the Federation office or on-line.  Contact the Federation office in Little Rock for more information at 501-375-8131.
