Wayne Farms - Danville Complex spread holiday cheer to area schols when they sent out Holiday Characters:  The Grinch, 2 elves, Mrs. Claus, and the Wayne Farms Chicken.  Area schools included Danville, Western Yell County, Two Rivers(Ola) and Yell County Special Service Center.  The Wayne Farms Holiday Characters handed out over 1,300 candy canes to the excited boys and girls for the Christmas season, grades K-6.  This marks the third year for Wayne Farms to send out Holiday Characters to the area schools.  A new addition this year was the Wayne Farms Chicken who sported a Santa hat and performed the Chicken Dance for the children during their Christmas parties.  "It's always fun to see the smiles on the children's faces when the characters enter the room," said David Elam, Wayne Farms Danville Complex Manager.
