The Arkansas Energy Office, a division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, has announced that cash rebates will be given directly to broiler poultry growers following their purchase of LED lighting.
The rebate will amount to 50 percent of the bulb cost. Funds for the program total $1.2 million and will be provided by the U.S. Department of Energy through the Arkansas Recovery and Reinvestment Act and will be administered through the Arkansas Energy Office.
The rebates are on a first come, first serve basis.
