The Poultry Federation's Spring Symposium for Live Production personnel is scheduled for April 23-24, 2013 at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers, AR.  Host hotel is Embassy Suites NWA, located at 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway.  The hotel connects to the convention center where the conference will be held.

The 2013 Spring Symposium Committee has put together another great program that will address the latest topics and challenges facing today's live poultry production teams across the state and nationwide.

What is the Spring Symposium?  The annual Poultry Spring Symposium is the largest local conference and vendor trade show for live production personnel.  Last year 56 vendor companies exhibited in the tabletop trade show and over 500 people were in attendance.

Live production personnel, and suppliers who support live production of turkeys, breeders, and broilers; and more specifically growers, service technicians and grow-out managers are encouraged to register and attend.

The annual conference is planned and coordinated by The Poultry Federation, the Poultry Improvement Committee and the Center of Excellence for Poultry Science.  Dean Creasey of Cobb-Vantress, Inc., serves as the 2013 Spring Symposium Chairman.

A golf tournament will also be held in conjunction with the Symposium with proceeds going towards the U of A poultry science scholarship fund.
