  • Arkansas raised 1.1 billion broiler chickens
  • Pounds produced:  5.8 billion pounds
  • Value of production:  $2.6 billion

 In 2009, ARKANSAS ranked 3rd nationwide in Turkey production*

  • Arkansas raised 29 million turkeys
  • Pounds produced:  568 million pounds
  • Value of production:  $284 million

 In 2009, ARKANSAS ranked 9th nationwide in Egg production*

  • Arkansas produced 2.9 million eggs
  • Value of production:  $363 million

 In 2009, MISSOURI ranked 2nd nationwide in Turkey production*

  • Missouri raised 18.5 million turkeys
  • Pounds produced:  611 million pounds
  • Value of production:  $305 million

 In 2009, OKLAHOMA ranked 11th nationwide in Broiler production*

  • Oklahoma raised 226 million broiler chickens
  • Pounds produced:  1.2 billion pounds
  • Value of production:  $558 million
